I still haven't come to grips with how stupid the American public was in re-electing George Bush. I've distanced myself from politics-- bye bye to loud mouthed pundits arguing over the same issues, etc. I've tried to convince myself that I ought to respect the right of others to possess a different viewpoint on G.W's capabaility as president of the United states. I've tried to convince myself that since I'm not a citizen of this nation, I could simply say fuck it to the political happenings of the country. I've tried debauchery as a way to forget. I've tried controlled violence as a way to diminish my want to bludgeon the many idiots who simply voted for the president because they were told to do sowithout actually thinking of why they ought to vote for said man. etc etc

I'm sick of trying, because nothing has worked.

From henceforth, I'm punching any fucking idiot who voted and can't defend their position. I'm right in my assessment that G.W supporters are idiots, blinded by fear or party following puppets. Either way, they are maggots, and given the chance I"ll punch their fucking face in.

I know just how you feel. So does this guy:
Sorry folks, but no matter how you skin this woolybooger, our clown prince was elected with about half the popular vote, and he retains the open support of at least half the public. So if you hate Bush's policies, then you hate the 140 million Americans who continue to solidly back his policies. At the very least, you must hate about half of us. Hell, we hate'em too. Quit feeling so bad and admit that Americans have willingly elected a murderous gang of fascist pissbrains. Now doesn't that feel better?

So what does one do when one no longer loves one's country? I do not love my country. At least not the one I see around me these days. And, oh blasphemy of blasphemies! I do not "support our troops." You probably don't either. Now that we have that out of the way, can we talk honestly here? I may be a baby raping communist by the current war-crazed patriotic standard, but other, more conventional Americans are speaking out about the grotesques we have become.

You'll want to read the whole thing.

Everytime I'm behind a car with Bush stickers, I say "fuck you", and hope they can read my lips in their rear view.

Thefountainhed . . . I feel ya, man. Truly. :(

Repo Man,

Everytime I'm behind a car with Bush stickers, I say "fuck you", and hope they can read my lips in their rear view.

I feel the same way about those goddamned stickers, as well as the goddamned "One Man, One Woman, Yes On 36" ones. Man, orange and black never made me so pissed before.

Does anyone know how to take off bumper stickers? *Funeral grin*

A good gage of how well things are going in the country is the mood of liberals. When liberals are down in the dumps and upset then we know the country is on the right track.

Liberals were pretty upset during the Vietnam era. Did that prove the country was on the right track then?

Some people voted for Bush so he could clean up the mess he made.

When liberals are down in the dumps and upset then we know the country is on the right track.
It's dangerous, though, 'cause of a little thing called the power of the people. No matter how powerful the government, a million people in the streets of Washington DC can shut it down overnight.

But we don't because we still believe in Democracy.

Cover it with a sticker that says-

I'm changing the environment- ask me how.

America you know what...you deserve Bush. The world is changing and your president isn't, the fall of the American imperium is happening as we speak, through the facade of power, the reality bites:

>$3trillion worth of foreign debt
>Collapsing dollar, which has not helped exports, and increased imports.
>A consumer based economy which in turn is based on debt.
>Lowering living standards for millions.
>Concentration of power and wealth in the top 10%, 1% of the American population has as much wealth as the bottom 80%! Third world me think so.

So while you Bush loving idiots go around putting your little American flags on your car, the reality is that America is crumbling all around you.
