Reign. The word itself makes you ask, possibly the first time that you see it: "how the hell do I pronounce this word?" But then you hear that it's pronounced just like rain, and then you move on with life. But the meaning behind the world is also cool. The meaning reigns: --dictionary.com So it looks, sounds, and is, in effect: cool. Now to get to how you would use it in a sentence-- Man this is cool.->Man this reigns. Man that was cool.->Man that reigned. Man this is gonna be cool.->Man this is gonna reign. There you have it, officially the most excellently rad tubular word in the english language. That reignsPlease Register or Log in to view the hidden image! My goal is for older people across the world to use it when they're trying to be hip...or reign.
no, I'm serious- it's a too heavy word to pronounce it everytime you think "cool" "cool" is a light /in both aspects/ word reign sounds a bit too heavy and pessimisic
I thought that possibly the challenge of pronunciating the g-n would make it popular, or at least noteworthy.
MINES BETTER! this is somethign me and Pollux do alot. I came up with a new one Before "reigns". "Ultra-Mega". its caught on with us, some friends, and a certain spanish teacher we share. lol. It wouldn't catch on in a large scale tho. Its too long. Some examples: I had a good time -> I had an ultra-mega time. Also can be used to show a negative feeling. that was a pretty sucky concert -> that concert was ultra-mega sucky. LOL, two teenagers from maine trying to invent new catchphrases. This should tell you how exciting life is around here. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Hey, don't doubt the possibilities of making something popular. Somehow the giant, purple squid-monkey(or rhino) has become popular at sciforums' religion forum and I introduced that about 6 months ago or so.
Hahaha either reigns maaaaan. You must prove your valor! Prove that you are reigned, as I am, by using reign to describe anything! Just...use...reign. Reign off you drop of ass juice. Man I am sooo tired...that boss is reigning me to death. To reign, or not to reign: that is the question. You know I reign waaaaay more than you or anyone. He's so stupid man, he's a nonreigner. And on ultra mega (which I do use a lot now, mostly in reformedtopunk's presence): When saying ultra-mega, you've gotta apply all the rules of the above, but when you say it both thumbs must be raised and away from the body, and you have to move em back and forth as you say it in a suave voice. Think Devo.
I discovered something recently that makes the word reign reigner. Man, that reigns sounds like you're referring to someone who reigns rather than something that's cool. Just thought I'd point that out. Brain foooooood.....
Yeah, I said it for a long time, it reigned. I got some others to say, but it never really took off...
Potatoe, do you know Pollux?! *Blinks* Anywho (Anywho is MY word), I think that your new word rul.... reigns. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
