I strongly believe that we should have a ' Reducing Your Carbon Footprint ' forum.
This is possibly the most important issue to ever face mankind and it would be good to share advice and tips on energy saving etc.

Starting a new forum would would take energy to mantain and moderate. That's one more forum that James or Stryder would fire up their computers and check!
Are you crazy, man?
We need less forums if anything. I mean what if it gets popular, then 15 extra people could get hooked and spend hours on line that they normally wouldn't have.WITH THEIR COMPUTERS TURNED ON! , ENERGY.
I suggest you put a little more thought into this.
Perhaps you could do a study to find out if the ends justify the means.
I'll bet you could get a grant.
Better yet, Delete this post and shut your computer off for a week just in case this idea has already caught fire.
That should offset any damages.

It would quickly become another place for global warming deniers to strut their stuff.

For the most part it wouldn't work "Sharing ideas". I know it's the "mega cool hippy green" way of doing things, however for our carbon footprints to actually amount to anything, companies have to work out the economic viability for worrying about it.
Ergo, They need to make money out of the ideas. Free ideas are Free for a reason, they don't make money. I know it's a crying shame but that's the reality of the matter, people only "invest" if they see a return and unfortunately our environment cleaning up isn't enough of a return for them.
Here's a novel idea...
Turn off your frikken computer!
Carbon footprint reduced by one toenail....;)

How about starting with a thread on the topic instead?
