This is what I hate hate hate hate hate hate about Google ads. If you have a blog that writes about evolution, you can bet every single conartist trying to push intelligent design onto people has bought a google ad. All I get are proposals from very wealthy widows, offers of honorary degrees, and ads for penis reduction. I've learned to ignore them.
Yeah it's too bad that Google doesn't have a bullshit filter. I always get ads like "Find Black Holes on Ebay!". That, and crackpots who are buying ad space for their shitty books.
It's only as bad as spam emails. My dads won the Nigerian lottery 7 times this year already! He doesn't even know where Nigeria is. Companies have to make money somehow, selling ad space and contact info is very efficient.

Well, the Scientologists are much better at marketing than Christianity. And they don't have the PR nightmare of suicide bombings...although, there are a few scientologists who I would like to see strap on the IEDs...
