Good Friday morning.
I've been politically active all my adult life, which stretches back more than a few years. And all that time — right up through the 2000 Presidential elections — I thought Republicans and Democrats were pretty much flip sides of the same coin of corruption. Sure, the two parties had slightly different pretended views for media consumption, but they generally coexisted in a comfy equilibrium of malfeasance.
The more I watch this particular president, though, and the ongoing behavior of his political colleagues, the more it seems time for a reassessment...
