Hello All...

I'm looking for a cure to hyperactivity... or at least, sudden bursts of energy that come from being bored and don't go away even when you are no longer bored...
I know these bursts of uncontrolable energy do not come from sugar or caffaine, because I have taken neither.

What do you recomend?

Ta.

That's exactally what I want to cure.
Maybe if someone hits me over the head with a large, blunt object...

A swift kick to the head.

Seriously, I either watch Family Guy, play violent games, post here or spend two minutes with my girlfriend.

Try some of them out

um... that last one sounds scary, the first 2 aren't available and well, Ive been doing the third.

What if I try and write my essay? *sigh*

I am a good student, I swear!

spend two minutes with my girlfriend.

Yeah...spend two minutes with your girlfriend. Girl on girl action always gets ready of excess energy. Its the law of karma that states that.

Ah... that's what you meant... no, I couldn't do that. My girlfriend would be jealous.

I knew my sargedar wasn't playing up! I sensed he was near to say something like that. I knew. NEXT TIME SARGENT, NEXT TIME!!

I meant it in a way that she just bitches about anything which just immediatly brings you down into a mood where you just don't want to do anything but sit and contemplate your meager existance.

Marijuana. No joking. I was extremely hyperactive until I became a reefer ranger. Now I just take it as it comes to me, never get bored, and generally feel good.

Ever hear of excercising? If you have excess energy then put it to good use and go out and walk a few miles, swim, run or just do any type of excercise that you like doing. This will help reduce the stress that you feel and help keep you in tip top shape. Regular excercise daily could help prevent this from happening also so get into a daily excercise program that lasts at least 30 minutes to an hour of good, hard steady excercising.

the thing about :m: is it's a no go with parents in the house.

Excercising! Brilliant! Thanks... :) Only, it was a bit late at night and I couldn't do much.

You can do sit ups, knee bends, push ups or any number of excercises that all you need is a little floor space to do them in. You could even run in place so don't say you don't have the space....that would be a cop out. Yoga is done just sitting so theres another way to do something to help yourself if you really want to. It is up to you, now do it! :)

yoga=too calm...

and well, I have neighbours downstairs who wouldn't like the noise...

I'll do "barra"... what do you call it? When you have a bar and you do lifts?

Whatever you do I'm certain that as long as you excercise it will be benificial to you and relieve your hypertension. Just get into a daily routine if possible, try to excercise with your boyfriend or companion.

Jaded, have you tried Tai Chi. I dabbled in it last year (for two weeks) but I found that it helped...now why did I quit again...

lol, no, I haven't. I've done some crazy stuff... and although I'm more flexible than some people take me for... I'm not into hour long sessions of playing Twister with myself.

Oh, and I've remembered what that convo was all about... no, I ain't got a girlfriend... I was keedeeing.

Don't get me started on twister. A friend of mine and I were at it for nearly two hours. My arms went numb, my back was wasted and my ankles begged to be strecthed. And I am only talking about twister (I sensed sargent was around).

Tai Chi is very good and I do recommend it. When I have time I'll be taking it back up again.

You were kidding, oh she wil be disapointed now...

who? you're girlfriend or mine? Mine won't mind if I call her "play thing" instead of girlfriend. It's better for both of us... you know, so we can still see other people ;)
