While on a gondola ride a few days ago, I head old man Corgan singin' a song. And to sum it up, the song was fuckin'' AWESOME! I usually can't stand his voice, but the music was very detailed and his voice was quite fitting.

Anyways, the song I'm talking about was a bit sad, not too fast and really mind shattering. I've recently downloaded a few Pumpkins songs to see which one it could be, and though I don't remember the lyrics, or the base melody, I'm pretty sure it's a song called "Today" from Siamese dream. Are there any other songs like this in which Billy Corgan could be singing that really cool song? I'm not sure by my own guess, but I need to know what the hell I'm talking about(if it's a different one, of course.) Otherwise it'll eat me alive. I need more.

Siamese Dream is my favorite pumpkins album, but I haven't really heard enough of there albums all the way through.
Either way, every cd collection needs a copy of Siamese Dream.

If you asked me to describe the Pumpkins' music, these phrases would come to mind.

-- a bit sad
-- not too fast
-- really mind-shattering

Don't even bother looking for that one song, my friend. Just get all the Pumpkins albums and die happy!

Well, I'm pretty sure that "today" was the song I heard. I listened to it about a million times just cause it's sweet.

But anyways, I forced myself to listen to the whole of Siamese Dream and it's frickin' awesome! Corgans voice still does annoy me. Though I can't get over the lyrics and musical detail. Simple surface, yet very detailed underneath. A new favourite band.
