* * * Beware, this thread contains unrational critisms of the new bond movie in detail* * *

I actually got to see the new James Bond movie and i can honestly say that i think this was the worst film to date.
Peirce Brosnon (sp) has grey hair! c'mon, this has got to be a first, it seems so stupid to me that a man about twice any other persons age in the movie can kick butts and still not be tired out by it. The character in my opinion deserves someone younger and fitter.

They can change DNA, make cars invisible, start a helicopter in mid air, make a mockery of the north koreans. I know that in the past James Bond movies have been futuristic but at least they have been realistic/believable.

the satelite was too much like the golden eye satelite 3 movies before in Golden Eye and i think they should have got a more original idea.

Critisize my opinions at will, after all i have critized the new James Bond film.

oh and i thought the sex scenes were abit too graphic for a bond film but i forget what the rating was.
:m:

I feel the old and grey Sean Connery has more sex appeal than 10 Pierced Brosnans, no matter how many fancy technological gadgets and stunts they use to dazzle the audience...

Like the Highlanders say: There can be only ONE!!!

I'm not a fan of the bond movies in general.
I find them to be predictable, repetitive, and overly fantastical.
I went to this film with very low expectations, and found that although it had all the above problems, I still kinda enjoyed it.

One thing I'll say though is that the whole invisible car thing was really going overboard.

Well, old guys can be tough bastards. Lieutenant Commander Stokes at HMAS Cerberus retired at 65 when I was there, and even then he was without doubt one of the toughest bastards in the RAN. This guy did 400 one-armed push-ups, and even at 65 worked out every day with weights that I still would have trouble with. He joined the navy as a general duties sailor, went into Gunnery, then a CD (our version of the SEALs), then was a physical trainer, and so on. Scary tough dude.

I see what you are saying Adam, but bond has always been relatively younger in all previous Bond movies.
I think the way Bond movies are going now, they are going to end up too much like Die Hard movies.

it was pretty far fetched, but i must admit i liked it better than the last two. Its the best since goldeneye. And Halle Berry to boot! c'mon! And i'm glad they finally picked on someone instead of the russians. James Bond can only foil the Russians so many times before they just totally devote all their forces to killing him.

It was the first Bond movie in a long time that had ANY originality.

omg i thought it BLEW! Like someone said before, they are usually fanciful and futuristic but not unbelievable. That whole bit with the invisicar, and Halle Berry (i really dislike her...don't find her attractive at all...plus, she wasnt even wearing anything THAT revealing!). Oh, plus.. Iceland does NOT = ICE! As everyone should know. And why would that one dude keep the diamonds lodged in his face?

 From now on i am watching just pre-goldeneye Bond films.

Good choice NeniarTronian.

I tell you a nitpick of that film:

You know how on 007's car, it has tiny cameras that project an image onto the other side of the car so it appears invisible? Well, at one point 007 hides behind the car while its invisible, the bad guys didnt see him. But if it projects an exact image from one side of the car to the other, they should have been able to see him.
heh he

Yeh, why the hell did that geezer keep the diamonds in his face, he could have sold them and made money.

No, i did not like that movie at all.
It lacked story line in favour of big bangs and explosions.
